After an upgrade to mail-client/mutt-1.5.20-r4, I noticed problems in
 regex
matching when using UTF-8. Specifically, most named character classes
 (e.g.
[[:alpha:]]) fail to match when mutt is started with `LC_ALL=en_US.utf8
 mutt`,
but match correctly when mutt is started with `LC_ALL=C mutt`. I have
 noticed
this failure to match in the mail reader's search search function and in
attempting to match email with the save-hook command in configuration
 files.

The problem also exists in mail-client/mutt-1.5.20-r5, but does not exist
 with
 mail-client/mutt-1.5.16 or mail-client/mutt-1.5.19-r1.
