 mutt clears the {{{References}}} header if the {{{In-Reply-To}}} header
 gets deleted when editing a message.

 I propose to also clear the header if the {{{In-Reply-To}}} header merely
 gets modified. (Today, I wanted to reply to a message to a mailing list
 that I no longer had in my inbox. So I picked a different message from the
 mailing list and replied to that. I edited the {{{In-Reply-To}}} header to
 reflect the message that I wanted to reply to. As a result, the message
 had the {{{In-Reply-To}}} header that I desired, but a {{{References}}}
 header that corresponded to a completely different message. I'd have been
 better off with no {{{References}}} header at all.)
