#3055: incorrect status flag F with some message With the attached mailbox (1 message), the message has an incorrect status flag F. The cause may be an incorrect format (I haven't checked), but I don't think that Mutt handles it correctly; in particular <limit> ~P hides the message as expected (so, the behavior is not consistent).
