Oh, and to make matters even more complicated, on some systems, you need to link against libpthread or other gunk too, to provide mutex implementations to libdb... bogofilter has 90 lines of autoconfiguration (discounted the environment stuff that mutt doesn't need) to cater for all this. :-/ BerkeleyDB ought to use pkg-config or something like that to query cppflags and libs... -- Matthias Andree
