    Good idea: What about the attached additional patch? It makes use of
$my_variables to allow a single point of configuration for gpg
path/filename. Also permits easyier switching between pure GnuPG calls
and the gpg-2comp script. Applies to 20070321 CVS, which already
includes Christoph's relative patch.

    Note: I blindly kept/readded the --comment '' option where it had
been inconsitently removed. Is it OK?
