Please try to reproduce, but after you enable debugging in mutt.
See whether it "mutt -h" lists -d for debugging, then start
as Paul said: mutt -d 2
Clear the ~/.muttdebug0 file of private data, and cut it
down to the
_relevant_ part at the end, the beginning is not needed.
The whole log might be too big otherwise.
