 iconv has no prob with the other message.
 
 Anyway, as I tried to make clear, I wasn't complaining, or
 expecting immediate service or something the like, just trying to
 report as precisely what happens on my machine. This won't keep
 me from using Mutt, and I have workarounds; still it might put
 off a potential new user with a similar setup, who encounters a
 freeze without any idea of the cause.
