Just a "me too". I just upgraded from mutt-head of 6 Dec 2005 yesterday,
and suddenly all my old messages became new. Exiting mutt and restarting,
most messages became old, but some very old messages were new. I didn't
spot a pattern. I use imap to a cyrus imap server, no header cache, and
I assume that the default "#set nomark_old" means mark_old.
I have cvs update -D15-dec-2005, but things are still rather strange..
