gpgme & traditional pgp

Hello,

I’m just curious… is there a particular reason why mutt can’t send “traditionally” (i.e. pine-style) signed/encrypted mail when using CRYPT_BACKEND_GPGME rather than CRYPT_BACKEND_CLASSIC? Or is it just something that hasn’t been implemented?
