Well, once the urgent issue was fixed ('-%s' -> ' (%s)'), I was thinking
on proposing to somehow make a difference between tarball releases and
CVS snapshots, so that from the version string one can know which one it
is, without having to check the release date for the version.
The way to mark a tarball release could as well be just the way it was
before, that is, no date at all.
Does any of the commiters have an opinion on this?
