Since you asked, to be honest, I've never liked the behavior of
tagging a message at all.  I'd prefer that tagging a message not move
the message selector.  About as often as not, I find that after
tagging a message, I want to do something else with it (such as
actually read it -- I often tag messages before I look at them).
