1.5.11 -- segfaults with imaps and mailbox sync

Dear all,

for a while I have been noticing the following severe problem with
mutt 1.5.11 on Linux/Debian unstable.

  The message index is incorrect. Try reopening the mailbox.Segmentation fault

Server: dovecot
    dovecot-imapd  1.0.beta2-1    secure IMAP server that supports mbox and ma

Client Configuration:
    - /home/ruf/Mail/<mboxes>
    - imaps

Procedure to segfault:
    - mutt resyncs automatically by fetching the data
    - I delete a single new email by 'd'
    - I press '$' to sync the mailbox
    - mutt repeatedly presents the message shown above
    - until mutt crashes.
