Re: mutt/891: $hostname misdocumented
Synopsis: $hostname misdocumented

State-Changed-Why:
Refile as doc bug, retitle from "mutt fails to print a
hostname after the @ in the from field of a messages it
sends, although hostname -f does print a FQDN.", reopen.
In absence of feedback from reporter, and as problem
seems unreproducible in normal conditions, we can only
suppose it was a misconfig.
Now the $hostname documentation is wrong. IIUC $hostname
defaults to host.DOMAIN. With DOMAIN coming from compile
time option --with-domain=DOMAIN, or if none from the (Mutt
startup time) domain part of the nodename if given by
uname(), or if none from /etc/resolv.conf domain or search
statement. $hostname doc should also link to $use_domain and
$hidden_host.
