The problem also occurs under Linux/x86. But I can't reproduce it
without the "-j2" (on either machine).
This is GNU Make 3.80 on both machines.
BTW, I have a similar error with make -j2 and one of my programs
(with a hand-written Makefile). I thought my Makefile was buggy,
but now I'm wondering...
