Other clients are probably just better at reconnecting. The key error is at
the bottom of the trace: "A TLS packet with unexpected length was received."
Unfortunately there isn't enough there to be sure that it's a disconnect, but
it's definitely outside of mutt's control. You might see whether reducing
$mail_check helps - it may keep a firewall with a short timeout from dropping
"idle" connections. Try something like 30 or 60.
