The current CVS server is no great shakes in that department
either. Maybe it's worth considering a fully decentralised VC system
(mercurial, darcs, git, etc). I've been tracking mutt with mercurial
for a little while now and I've liked it. Not sure it's quite ready
for prime time, but some people (eg Xen) seem to think so...
