pinentry problems

I'm having a problem with pinentry-curses that I think I've found a 
solution for. Essentially what happens is that, when the DISPLAY 
variable is set (good for mailcap entries), using gpg-agent and 
pinentry-curses causes mutt to not reset the terminal properly. There is 
a brief discussion of this behavior, and even a patch, here:

Is there any interest in getting this into main CVS? Or, if this is a 
bad fix, could someone shed some further light on the real issue here? 
(I didn't see a mention of it in the mutt-dev archives.)
