Re: For 1.5.8: notalternates functionality



Mhh...  I think the plan after 1.5.7 was to model unalternates after
the ignore/unignore combo, where we not only use unignore to remove
things from the ignore list, but also to add things to an unignore
list.

If we want to do the same for alternates/unalternates, then we
should, for the purpose of consistency, also do it to the mailing
list handling.  This would call for some generic (but not too
difficult) changes in init.h and init.c. 

I'm wondering, though, if it wouldn't make the already-complex
mailing list handling unusable.

Thoughts?
