Right. Since there are multiple contributors asserting copyright in
the code, each contributor's year(s) of copyright should be list only
those years in which he made changes. So TLR's copyright years should be
updated for most (but perhaps not all) files, but Brandon Long's, for
example, should not.

Which probably means that some of the years listed already are wrong,
but I'm not sure anyone's really counting. It's perhaps not worth fixing
old mistakes, but new ones shouldn't be introduced.

Or you could go the "Mutt Community Trust" route and be done with it. :)
