It is posible send an e-mail with a shell script directly?

I try with:
    #mut -x -a/tmp/pru.htm -i/tmp/prueba -sPrueba itena@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

but appears:
        To: itena@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
        (End message with a . on a line by itself)
           .
