Subject: mutt-1.3.23i: tabs not generating correct whitespace
To: submit@xxxxxxxxxxxx

Package: mutt
Version: 1.3.23i
Severity: normal

-- Please type your report below this line

If there are tabs in a message, text from the previous
screen won't get overwritten by the whitespace the tab should generate.
This happens in the ncurses version, but not when built with slang. It is
present in both 1.3.23 and 1.3.24, but not 1.2.5. We have not changed
versions of ncurses since 1.2.5.
