Subject: mutt-1.2.5i: Attaching multiple tagged files from different
directories causes coredump
To: submit@xxxxxxxxxxxx

Package: mutt
Version: 1.2.5i
Severity: normal

-- Please type your report below this line

I was trying to verify that one could attach multiple files at once
using mutt's file browser and the tag function. I composed a short
message and exited my editor. From the Compose Menu, I typed 'a', then
'?' to enter the file browser. I tagged two files in one directory,
then typed ';' and <Enter>. This returned me to the Compose Menu and
showed that both files had been attached. I re-entered the file
browser, tagged a file in a subdirectory of my $HOME directory, then
selected "../" to view my $HOME directory, tagged a file there, then
typed ';' and <Enter> as before to attach both files. The result was
that mutt crashed with the following message:

    Attaching selected files...Memory fault(coredump)

----- Forwarded message from Gary Johnson <garyjohn@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> -----

I just tried reproducing this with the version I am using now,
1.5.5.1i, and with 1.4i, and could not. So it looks like the
problem is no longer there.
