I use the folder-hook command to modify configuration variables (namely
from, signature, and record) based on which folder I'm in (and by extension,
which mail account the current messages are associated with). When I start
up mutt and change to a different folder, everything appears to work fine.
However, if I start using mutt -f Mail/somefolder, the folder-hook which
in normal use matches 'Mail/somefolder' does not get executed. I could not
find any documentation which described that as intended behavior, so I'm
assuming (until I hear otherwise :) that it is a bug. It makes sense to me
that starting mutt with -f Mail/somefolder should have the same effect as
and starting mutt and manually changing to 'somefolder'.
Thanks,
Nathan Poznick
