problems with imap in tunnel mode with 1.5.4

On one box I have 1.5.3 vanilla and the following imap config:

account-hook ^imap://my.server.com/ 'set tunnel="/usr/bin/ssh my.server.com
/usr/bin/imapd 2>/dev/null"'
set folder=imap://my.server.com/INBOX
set spoolfile=imap://my.server.com/INBOX
set mbox=+In record=+Out postponed=+Draft

On another box I have debian's latest 1.5.4+20030913 and exactly the
same config.

When using 1.5.3 if I type 'mutt -f ">"' I am end up in my mbox, which
is fine.

However with 1.5.4 the same command sends me to the spoolfile. When
attempting to change folders with 'c<' or 'c>' I am always thrown back
to the INBOX. When accessing the imap server throug regular imap or
imaps protocol (not tunnel) it does work as expected.
