Subject: TSA deploying backscatter body x-rays at U.S. airports
Dave,
As per:

TSA has started "test" deployments of human body x-ray backscatter
systems
at U.S. airports. As you'll recall, I discussed this eventuality
-- and where it will likely lead -- over a year ago right here in IP:

TSA claims that they now blur the "naughty bits" of the images, as
if that could really make the system any less intrusive. But just
for chuckles, let's not forget the June 2003 backscatter x-ray demo
by Susan Hallowell, the director of the TSA's security laboratory,
featuring her with and without her clothing:

Now that's entertainment... er, security.
