The results in Ohio and the Exit Poll have been thoroughly examined. An organization I am part of, the election science institute (esi), conducted an audit of 49 of the 88 counties in late 2004 and early 2005. While significant error was found, the error was found to be random. I also find it interesting that those who argue that the exit poll results were accurate have never performed an exit poll before - esi found some of the same factors in its new mexico exit poll as the NEM exit poll experienced in Ohio.

Finally, I'm quite concerned about the use of the election system as a political wedge. The election system clearly is in need of significant improvement, but this requires objective, rationale, scientific enquiry and system development.
