Articles like this really bother me. For starters, they use Google's
name just to grab eyes; secondly, the risks they outline can be
summed up fairly simply: "manage your public network connections
properly." Google won't find unmanaged ports if there aren't any, nor
will it find inappropriate error messages if there aren't any.
Hackers won't find them either.
This article should more appropriately be titled, "the dangers of
unmanaged internet connections"
Of course, that title would attract almost no readers! :-)
