(PRWEB) -- The author of "King of Bombs," a novel

attacks of September 11, 2001, wrote "King of Bombs"
as a warning of what he is convinced is the imminent
threat of nuclear terrorism (www.kingofbombs.com).
Perhaps one should take a broader view of the situation. On September
14, a CNN article suggested that bin Laden uses low technology means
of communication -- http://archives.cnn.com/2001/BUSINESS/asia/09/13/
hk.binladenlowtech/. Of course, it also suggests his followers don't,
but they are just that -- followers. Followers need to be lead. Would
he like nuclear weapons? I'm sure he would. Is it his priority? I'd
imagine not. All of this scare-mongering is what he wants. Remember,
his mujahedeen bankrupted the Soviet Union by making it implode from
within -- I see the same thing happening to America.
I point to the recent increases in military spending and the botched
response to Katrina. Point fingers all you want, reality is that "we
the people" are the government, not George Bush, Dick Cheney, or
Alberto Gonzales. The ultimate blame for Hurricane Katrina rests on
our shoulders irrespective of skin colour. A majority of us elected
this lot and we need to live with the consequences. Happy New Year!
