So what happens when EVERY audio CD you get and play on your computer installs its own proprietary hidden rootkit?

Remember several decades ago when all those resident programs fought to reinstall themselves after each new resident program got installed? Remember all the incompatibilities caused by the dueling resident programs?

And even without unexpected interactions, how many of these resident rootkits are people's computers going to accumulate, before the whole computer is filled with this gooey, sedimentatary garbage? And who picks up the tab to fix the mess?

I sincerely hope that the Texas Attorney General's office nails Sony, BUT GOOD, on this one. Enough that NOBODY attempts this kind of crap again!!
