Dave,
SBC had an ad that promoted DSL.
Two competing groups of kids outside on the curb selling lemonade. One
sold just cups of drink (around $0.50 or somesuch); the other sold
lemonade + Internet Access (for $5 for 5 minutes or somesuch - I don't
recall the exact prices).
Message: it's not only OK to redistribute home DSL access, *it's OK to
charge for it*.
It's hard to take the telcos seriously, sometimes.
