I spoke with Senate Judiciary committee staff on Friday and they said
they weren't trying to mirror the Data Protection Directive, so I'm
not sure this question is relevant.
But if a future hypothetical bill were to mirror the Directive, we
can look at the research of Jacob Palme, a professor of computer

websites, dog owner websites, search engines, anti-bank activists,
