In the short term, they will probably rely on the fact that their
"BIOS", e.g. openfirmware, will only run on a few motherboards beyond
Apple's. This is of course, hackable, and will only provide for a
year or so of protection.
In the long term, they will probably integrate with one of Intel's
several security initiatives. Or, more likely rely on the lawyers to
go after anyone cloning machines.

What will Apple do to stop me from using the Apple enviroment on
say a ultralight Sony. They could become a software only comapny
or they could try to compete with the mass market hardware guys.
Or Intel could roll them either a unique processor.
Any ideas?
