Dave,

My forecast is never, if only for two reasons:

1) The probability that a government would get elected that would want to systematically do this is pretty remote, 2) In a democracy where people with political power and views from the left continue to exist (such as the lion's share of people on IP), there will always be challenges of such actions in courts, where a sympathetic judge will likely uphold Constitutional protections.

Rob

Dave-
I would be curious to know from the rest of the IP list when they
think that the US will strip an American citizen of their citizenship
and toss them overseas, or into a jail cell. Now, there are two
layers of possibility: a naturalized American citizen, or a citizen
by birth. Anyone willing to make a forecast?
