Subject: [IP] CAUTION IN THE USE OF SKYPE IF YOU BUY ADDITIONAL SERVICES

What's then to prevent ANY merchant from processing their bank card
charges this
way? (Hey, from their angle, it avoids their needing a merchant account, and
avoids their paying the 2-3% or more discount...!) Seriously, what if ALL
merchants chose to handle their credit card charges this way?
I think this might be a suitable candidate for government legislation...
people
"know" how credit card charges are processed, and if there are any such
"surprises" the purchaser ought to be notified of them at the time of the
purchase, so they can consider whether they want to (a) use their/that card,
and/or (b) shop with that merchant or service provider at all.
In this case, I think Moneybookers needs to make good on this, but hopefully
you'll also file a complaint with Skype, since clearly they are going to take
the lion's share of the public backlash on this. (Skype probably didn't even
know that moneybookers was going to pull this crap!)
