[IP] mac tiger users query

I installed Tiger and switched to Mail 2 from Entourage. Why does not  
Apple ease my life by preloading at least a decent junk table set so  
I don't have to climb a hugh curve teaching the filtering system it  
tricks (assuming it learns them).

Any ideas on how to speed this very painful process
