The download is 248 MB for Quicktime format,
and Slashdot already knows about it.
Rather than downloading directly off the server,
use BitTorrent so that your download will speed up other people's
downloads instead of slowing them down.
To tie back to a previous discussion, it's been estimated that
1/3 of the bits on the Internet today are Bittorrent file sharing.
So Cachelogic's claim that 60-80% of the traffic on
consumer broadband networks is P2P traffic doesn't seem out of line,
since P2P would predominantly be found on consumer broadband
and on college dorm LANs, and much less on the business-oriented
parts of the internet which mainly use client-server protocols.
