Bluetooth Blues

Phones with Bluetooth wireless technology know when they're around other
Bluetooth phones. This can let people connect with friends or make new ones
(it's even spawned the salacious practice of "toothing," in which strangers
arrange for amorous encounters, without ever saying a word).
But if Bluetooth can be used to swap business cards and photos, it also can
be used to pilfer data. A variety of attacks could happen, though very few
of them seem to have occurred. Some examples of what is technically feasible:
Bluesnarfing: The practice of using a Bluetooth connection to get access to
someone else's phone.
and more ...
Best, Ted
