Dave,
Secure Computing is a manufacturer of both authentication products (SafeWord) and web filtering products (SmartFilter and Bess), so you might be interested in our take on this.
While I haven’t seen any specifics, just looking at the device pictured on the I-Mature website http://i-mature.net/content.php?id=17&tno=7 <http://i-mature.net/content.php?id=17&tno=7> it’s hard to see how it could be retailed for just $25. A more serious problem is getting home users to buy and install biometric devices. I’m skeptical that that the consumer market will purchase biometrics in enough numbers for a product like this to be successful.
