Children and the Internet
Featuring Kathryn Montgomery, PhD

The Institute for Mental Health Initiatives will be holding its second
session in our Mental Health & Media Speaker Series featuring media
education expert Dr. Kathryn Montgomery. A professor in the Public
Communication division at American University, Dr. Montgomery will be
addressing the topic of children and the internet. For nearly twelve
years Kathryn Montgomery was the president and co-founder of the Center
for Media Education and has made innumerable contributions to the areas
of children's television and the impact of the internet on children.
This event will take place on January 24th from 5:00 to 6:00pm.
