Subject: DMCA vs DIY phishing kits hit the Net

These DIY kits contain all the graphics, web code and text required to construct bogus websites designed to have the same look-and-feel as legitimate ecommerce sites. They also come with spamming software.

Sounds like something the DMCA *should* be used against, and easily can.

ISPs routinely are getting DMCA takedown requests for other copyright violations, and counterfeit websites are obviously in violation of copyright.

Time to start using the DMCA for something beneficial to all!
