Subject: From Neil Munro; One can't trust Debka, but one can't dismiss
thi s other author.....
The author is Andrew C. McCarthy, a former chief assistant U.S.
attorney who led the 1995 terrorism prosecution against Sheik Omar Abdel
Rahman and eleven others.
In his article at
http://nationalreview.com/mccarthy/mccarthy200406170840.asp , he argues
that
the commission did a poor job of examining Atta's trips to Prague, where
there's decent evidence that he met an Iraqi agent. He also argues that
there's good evidence an Iraqi Fedayeen commander helped arrange an
earlier
meeting of the hijackers. He offers other evidence of an Iraqi-Al-Q
link,
including statements from then-CIA chief Tenet. It's all very
interesting,
but not enough for a jury to convict. Yet is cumulatively more than
enough
to justify concern by a politician, general or cop.
