[IP] WSJ on Gmail

"The Electronic Frontier Foundation's Mr. Bankston is concerned that
Google's keyword-based analysis of e-mails might not enjoy the same legal
protections against being seized as the original e-mails themselves. He says
the large storage capacity of the Google system also raises issues, since
current laws make it easier for the government or people bringing suit
against an individual to gain access to e-mails over 180 days old. Gmail's
one gigabyte of free storage per user makes it more likely people will hold
on to e-mails longer than that."
