Dear Colleague,
We are delighted to invite you to a presentation by the Task Force on
National Security in the Information Age, to be held at the Markle
Foundation on Wednesday, March 31st from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
The Task Force recently released its second report, "Creating a Trusted
Information Network for Homeland Security." In the report, the Task Force
addresses the key actions needed to create an information network that will
increase our nation's security while preserving our fundamental rights and
civil liberties.
The discussion will include the presentation of an interactive
visualization that describes the SHARE network, a proposed network for the
sharing of information regarding counterterrorist efforts among federal,
state and local government agencies.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, March 31st from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
The Markle Foundation is located at 10 Rockefeller Plaza, 16th Floor
(between 48th and 49th Streets). It will be necessary for you to respond
to Danna Lindsay (<mailto:dlindsay@xxxxxxxxxx>dlindsay@xxxxxxxxxx) or
212-713-7645 and please arrive early to allow time to be cleared in through
building security.
Sincerely,
Stefaan Verhulst
Chief of Research
