Joe writes the iPod and iTunes suffer from vendor lock-in, that iTunes 
doesn't support other jukebox players. Seems a bit strange to me 
considering that iTunes works with SonicBlue, CreativeLabs, Nike, and 
Nakamichi mp3 players, and has since it's version 2 release.
