It's funny though, I've gotten a dozen emails on the topic - your's was

Marc, that's exactly what my patch to dnscache does. It discards the
sitefinder IP address and replaces it with NXDOMAIN. I published that
patch six hours after Verislime turned on sitefinder. It's very easy
to use. Just install dnscache
(http://cr.yp.to/djbdns/djbdns-1.05.tar.gz),
patch it with http://tinydns.org/djbdns-1.05-ignoreip2.patch, and
follow the instructions in the patch file.
Even if you're running BIND for your authoritative records, it's easy
to replace its caching function with dnscache.
