RE: [ga] ICANN to be shut down by RIAA?
>lots of money on RIAA lawsuits
I just got a copy of the RIAA's latest tax returns:
-The RIAA president makes more than 3 times that of the President of the US.
Period Ending 3/31/2002
Hilary Rosen President annual salary: $1,282,599
Contribution to Employee Benefits Plan: $129,272
Cary Sherman General Counsel salary: $764,184
Contribution to Employee Benefits Plan: $115,657
RIAA income:
Membership Dues: $43,692,237
Anti Piracy Recoveries $9,558,012
I don't understand how the RIAA gets income from this since they file suits
on behalf of their members ...
Some RIAA expenses:
Legal Fees: $16,717,000
Salaries & Wages (other than the 2 listed above) : $12,655,134
Travel $1,986,350

Government Relations Project $1,295,302
Federal Legislative Support $1,695,633
