Logic dictates that it has a way to do that already. Not only does ICANN not
do anything that is not in it's own interests of (ICANN interests in this
instance being defined by special interests as opposed to the public
interest ICANN was set up to promote), but also, it is inconceivable that
Verisign could have implemented anything as radical as this without at least
running it past ICANN's closed session executive branch. The question is how
is ICANN benefiting? Has Verisign increased its commitment to ICANN
commensurate with its increased gross revenue, or what?
