I think it is up to us to finalize the details. Hopefully our discussion today will get us moving on that.
The proposed plan on the table now calls for the election of vice chairs before the election of chair. If the vice chairs are ineligible for the chair position, then that eliminates two presumably viable candidates for chair; that could make it harder to elect a chair. So it has been suggested that the vice chairs should be eligible for the chair position and if one of them is elected as chair, then a new vice chair would need to be elected by the affected House.

I seem to remember a while back you asking whether the vice-chairs, once elected, would be eligible to run for chair.
Has this been answered?
It would seem not to make much sense to me, as all 3 positions are crucial to the Council’s day-to-day operational capacity, to have 2 of the 3 positions held by the same person...
