Re: [At-Large] [policy] Re: Respectful Online Communication and Behavior



During the development of the Internet protocols, implementers adopted the
following practice, which is fondly referred to as Postel's robustness
principle:

"Be conservative in what you send and be liberal in what you accept"

It may be naïve to conclude that we should aspire to the same goals in
personal correspondence as we have in protocol implementation but surely we
can try.
