[council] RrC thoughts on travel funding for Sydney



The RrC does not oppose the use of the DNSO residual funds so long as there is a fair and reasonable distribution of those funds that all can agree to. If those funds are used, the RrC would consider it fair and reasonable if it received at least partial funding from the DNSO residual funds for a third traveler/slot. If additional funding is desired or needed for IRT participants not covered by these funds, that should be requested separately.
 
The RrC sees two DNSO residual funds distribution scenarios that it would support (also in the attached spreadsheet):
 
This scenario assumes the goal is for everyone to get as close to funding three travelers as possible:
